i dont play a lot of parlays but there should be a lot of guys who are experienced with this kind of situation that can help you out.

i just wanted to drop a quick post to say that its great to see one of the genuinely good guys like yourself drop in at the forum over here. youve been a class act over the years and if youre 'back in the game', then its great to have ya here.

hopefully all is well with your family. take care 'sweat.

Since I like the Troy under, I'd definitely cover the parly by betting 150 on the Under - so if you were right and win the Over you collect the 572 and lose the 150 (plus vig) - if I'm right on the under, then you win 150 on the cover bet and lose 50 on the parlay - so you still make a 100

Good job on the parlay

Just me, but I would maximize my take for sure and just kick back and enjoy the 1st quarter...

I would put $250 on the under...$275 you could lose if your parlay hits, but it would net you about $300

If your original parlay loses...you lose your $50 and are up $200...

Anyway, it is just doing the math from there, but my thought is always take the money when given the chance...

GL which ever way you go

Jeff

PS Hitting on the number is not bad either, you still would net around $300 for a 3 team parlay

BallSWEAT...

First of all...great handle.

welcome to Mjacks...If Gman2 gives you the thumbs up you got me reading your threads.

Depending on how often you play these parlays..I would do one of two things.

1.If you seek to maximize the return on Parlays that you play...i.e, routine parlay plays

Bet $320 to win ~$305 on the Under

This way if your Parlay hits you net ~$ 252.62
If the Under hits you net $255.00

2. If you only play parlays once in a blue moon..

Bet $52.50 to win $50.00 on the Under

This way you cover your butt and have something to root for during the first quarter... :moon:

I mean you don't gamble to pay the rent right? :drinky:
