I don't know where you are watching the Packer game at but if you are looking for a place where the Packer fans are nuts go to the EZ Bar.. It will be nuts there. If not I would gladly meet up with you sometime and have a beer.. I can bring my packer buddies with to keep you up to speed..:0074 :mj07:

I live in East End, Superior, so it is only 10 minutes from my house to the EZ Bar. One of bartenders there, Jane, is an old friend of mine! I must say I usually stay home for the big Packer games, because I have trouble keeping my mouth shut when I hear people rooting against the Pack.

My best friend lives in Ham Lake MN and has Viking season tickets. Although we are best friends, we rarely talk about football, especially in the heat of the battle. It is better for our friendship. Especially after the whole Favre deal.

Anyway, would love to hook up sometime.

I don't know Pickled Pete off hand. I was (am) really good friends with Jane's ex-husband, Butch. I am godfather to her youngest son, Ryan!

She doesn't work there anymore but still see her around from time to time.

I will be at EZ for the Bowl and am looking for one of the Schultz's Pitt crew to lend me a Steeler jersey for the game.. Will be interesting to see what will happen in that bar after the game. A crew of about 10 Steeler fans go there on SUndays unless the Pack play at the same time.. Otherwise they go to Tower Ave. When the Pack lost to Denver in the Super Bowl there were about 5 fights after the game. Expecting much of the same..

Thanks for the invite but I got to be with my buddies for this game.

Superior has it's nice areas but yeah the down town is a slum.. Hell many if the bars are gone but those old rundown buildings just make the city look like crud.

Duluth downtown has gotten much worse. More killings and tons more crime.. Drugs, drugs, drugs and a ton of people moving from the Big Cities to here.. Can get away with the drug trade and better health care in Minny than in Chicago. Lot more whack job druggies in Duluth.. Superior has more whinos..

I live in the country on 40 acres so I am blessed..

There is some truth to that, I am afraid! Thanks for the invite, but I don't think I could watch the game with a bunch of Viking fans all pulling for the Steelers. Hope you guys have fun and I hope the game is a great game to watch. It certainly has the potential to be one!!!!:toast:

There is truth to that. Most Packer fans that I know like to watch the game with no opposing fans there because if the Pack start to lose they can't stand it. Wisconsin is a state where there is nothing else to do but tip cows, smell shit, drink beer, and cheer for the mighty Pack.. They like to have their own cheering environment and raw raw raw section..

I have seen many a Packer fan try to start a fight with opposing fans after a loss. It is quite comical..

My buddy used to host Packer Viking partys and the Packer crowd would show up and I think GB beat us like 4 times in a row and they gave us shit.. We beat them in the first meeting one season to break the streak and gave those guys a little bit of shit. Hell it had been 3 years since we could and the babies couldn't take it and then they would not show up to the next party..

I've got news for you, buddy. Minnesota fans are just as bad or worse than Packer fans. Minnesota fans are big-time bandwagon jumpers. At least Packer fans are loyal. I don't even know what "tip cows" means, so you are already one up on me!!!:mj07:

I love Port Washington. I have a good buddy that lives there. I stay with him almost every summer and we go to a Brewer game or two and sometimes take the train to Chicago for a day. Port Washington is a nice, quaint little town. Absolutely love it.

Yes that is the truth about a ton of Viking fans.. They jump ship. I am not one of those but I know a few who are and those are the guys I don't talk football with. :0008

I am trying to find the reasons why a lot of Viking fans are bandwagon jumpers..

I deducted a few..

1. This franchise has stabbed this team in the heart repeatedly since 1969.. The old timers .. The real die hards are dying off.

2. The Metrodome. What a dump that is and you can't even tailgate,, Park 6 blocks away for $30 and take on rain and snow.. AH no thanks.

3. Minneapolis has more to do and hot women to chase. You ever see many hot chicks at Lambeau? . You see a couple but most are tourists..
