serious note, open with a story of the two of you together, then shift to family support, then shift to thanking everyone for joining in the special day blah blab blab, then go to the evening events... i.e, we have cake later, beer and wine are on the house.... band kicks off at such and scuj...

I find it's best not to talk much with a "rection", i usually just hump away like a canine.
