You can get all the power you can handle for under $1500. These guys are reliable, I have used em as have a few people I know. Dont take my word for it though, www.resellerratings.com is a site CNET recommended and they get top ratings from them.
Stay away from Alienware. They are top shelf machines, great for hardcore gamers, but chances are any decent company or guy with the parts can build the same box for 50% less than they will charge.

it turned out that my d/l of adobe acrobat screwed up my registry. i went back to what it was before i made the download and am smoking again. at least, that's what i'm blaming it on.
