Help with first trip to vegas!!!

In the process of making the plans for my first trip this coming summer. I know there are many nice places so let me narrow down what I am looking for. Will have the wife so things to occupy her would be great. Not made of money but dont want to stay in a rat hole either. Holdem/BJ/Three card for me, a few slots for the lady of the house. Doesnt have to be on strip if it is easily accessed. Would like to play golf. The wife also wants a nice pool to hang beside. Help a brotha out

go to the Hard Rock's pool for rehab Sunday...I swear strippers were on the Hard Rock's payroll...I have never seen so many ass cheeks and plastic boobs in my life...it was awesome!

Treasure Island it is. Thanks for the help guys, any other must see/do things please let me know. The last few things I will ask of you is what would be the best time to go. When would the fewest people be there. The months of june/july is when I can go. Also we may have as many as 12 people making the trip, how many people does it take to get a discount on rooms/flight if they even do this. Thanks again guys, maybe see some of you out there!!
