help with limewire please

I have a Old Ver. of limewire that I occasionally use to grab some music. I haven't used it in months, try to use it today and limewire detected a firewall. I shut off Windows wall, even though limewire is a exception, and also turned off the AVG8.0 virus software I have.
Limewire still detects firewall:shrug:
what other firewall would be running, best of my knowledge, I don't have any.
Could ITUNES have a firewall affecting limewire?

This happened to me before. Uninstall and reinstall the same version. Should work after that.
