Cannot thank you all in person but how strange is it that all of you from all over the US,Canada,Mexico,Iraq and Japan can come together and share a small gift to a person who you all don't even know.
The power of this little "movement" is unreal. Many of you might think it's over buts it's not.The money part is probaly over but Herb's part is not.
Herb has been doing nothing but reflecting what has happened since the 1st letter arrived.I'll let him explain to you soon what his feelings are.
I have read every one of all your posts. Many, many have moved me and you out there.Bryanz said something yesterday about helping others and he hit a homerun. This isn't only about Herb but helping others in your lives.
John Wooden once said and Valvano mentioned something close to that is "you live everyday as a "masterpiece".You can do nothing about tomorrow. You can't do anything about yesterday. So make today a masterpiece"That is what you have control over.Trying to make each day count knowing you cannot make up for the lost day"
Wooden once said" if you sincerely try to do your best to make each day a masterpiece,Angels can do no better". How ironic he mentioned "angels".
All of you made made a "masterpiece".Keep them going in your own lives with friends and families.
I'm reading over this now and checking for grammer, spelling, etc. It also sounds like I'm preaching to you all and about to start a rendition of "Amen,Amen, or Hallaluah...". But I'm not.
I'm normal and upset that freak'in UAB didn't cover last nite in hoops.
Again thank you.We had 6 inches of snow and it's still coming down[no school].The village workers plowed about 2 feet of snow on my two cars in the driveway.I'm at the end of the block so the plows push everything to me.It's a heavy snow too.
bohawk...tell me about South Padre island.
And I gave the village workers $30 bucks with a X-mas card.Probaly no one on the block gave these guys anything. But I can hear them go up and down as I type this. And in about 5 minuts I'm going to shovel out of my walkway, shovel out to the road and let them know...oh I forgot...today has to be a masterpiece..lol
