Herbstreit is a HOMER

I have OSU plus points, but Herbstreit should never be able to do an OSU gams unless he is on the OSU radio network. This guy is so pro OSU and Big 10 that he clearly cheerleads for OSU during games. Personally, I think Herbstreit is one of the better announcers in college football, but not when he broadcasts OSU games.

Maybe i am biased cause i like Herb, but i don't see//hear it. I'd say Musberger is the more biased one, honestly. The differene between calling a big play for Ohio and Oregon is huge. He barely noticed that 38 yard run for Oregon.

But Herb i think is fair.

Herbstreit bleeds scarlet and grey and wears it on his sleeve no matter how hard he tries to be professional. Did you hear him about an twenty minutes ago going on about how great Pryor has been this season? If anything, Pryor has been disappointment this season and in my opinion he has regressed. As i said, Herbstreit is a good announcer except when he is doing an OSU game. Its just my opinion, and I could be wrong, but I would never expect to heat Herbstreit to speak honestly about Tressels failure to coach Pryor up, or about Tressels inability to call offensive plays.

I hate Ohio State, and I always listen to Herby to see if he is acting like a homer....and he doesn't. Just because he compliments OSU players or coaches doesn't mean he is a homer. His heart is definitely with OSU, but he does a great job of sounding objective, IMO. If you really give him a chance, you'll notice he is just as complimentary of Buckeye opponents.
