Be nice if some help would show up at the convention center. Shep Smith said tonight there is around 20000 standing and laying in the street there. Then another one of the Fox guys out on I 10 said there another 5000 sitting there for last 4 days and no one has brought them anything. Man said there sitting and dieing in middle of the road. What ever law it is don't much care where's the beef.

I was reading an article on the internet about people that use grammar policing as a response.
It states that these individuals are extremists whether latent or knowingly. And it is a sign of other latent problems that needs to be addressed.

I'll try and find the article and link. The great thing about it is that it reveals so much about a person. Truly amazing.

I looked it up because I've seen this behavior on a number of occasions in forums and was wondering what triggers a person to comment on another's grammar.

1-- SPEL LAYME ( lol, i never heard of this name )
refers to a response ,usually taboo , about someones grammar.

2- Grammar Deputy

3- Grammar Cadet

LOL..HILARIOUS Explanations GRAMMAR COMPULSIONS-another article on the subject !

4) The Grammar Checker-----Someone who gets all self righteous about someone else's grammar mistakes just to show the person that they are capable of noticing the mistakes when they were reading it. They will show how obnoxious they are by pointing out the errors and calling someone stupid or idiotic to make themselves feel superior or pedantic.

Back to Grammar Deputy--LOL-- Persons uttering or harping on someone else's grammar mistakes has shown an artificial intelligence.
The problem worsens within because they really understand what someone else is saying but will still remark on the grammar errors and are driven by reasons to appear clever but are really fostering a complex.

Also, in the other thread from yesterday, I never saw your answer as to how deposing a secular Dictator and putting in an Islamic government, reduces the influence of Islam. Thanks.

Let's regain our focus here. Enough goofing around.

Just my opinion, but the inability to form a proper sentence or tendency to use punctuation haphazardly tells you are more about the writer than the person correcting. Spelling is another area unto itself. I have known many very intelligent and educated people who can't spell.

By the way, where is Jesse's Rainbow Coalition? Are they down there helping out and/or contributing money?

Bill Frist is there helping as a doctor. No matter what motivations, if any, are involved, you still have to give him credit.

I don't know where Jackson is, but I have to give those commie entertainers credit for organizing that telethon so quickly.

No doubt there are so-called Black leaders exploiting this situation for political gain though God knows they have been given a veritable ton of ammo.

I can think of a lot more the "reverend" could have done to uplift and encourage the NO population. Instead, he bashes the president. Not suprising.

Grammar cadet, lmfao!! I'm guilty of that sometimes too, but goodness knows I let most of it go. I don't ever bring it up unless the offender's post is inherently ironic.

your/you're is probably the most butchered followed by they're, there, their, then are/our (don't know how people get this confused, but they do).

Im wondering why the beef took 4 days to start to show up. With all the Army, Navy, Air Force bases in that area. Are we that short because we have men all over the world. So when needed here were chit out of luck. We sure look like were ready for the next big terrorist attack don't we.

You can't just ring a bell and get the kind of support needed to get the job done. Even Honore said that. Could it have been better? Probably. You can't just fly a bunch of helicopters in and have them land on water or drop bales of food into a cesspool of bacteria. You can't drive a bus into 10 feet of water to pick up the survivors. Why didn't the mayor of NO or the governor of La have a plan for this? It wasn't news that this was going to happen. What were they doing in La government the days and hours before this disaster? Wouldn't it have made more sense to send in the buses BEFORE the storm hit? Wouldn't it have made sense to have the La state police or national guard units from La come into the area BEFORE the storm hit to get people out? I guess it is easier to blame someone else.

I think , by now, the black community is well aware of Jesse's extortion racketeering.

They are aware how he extorted cash for the inner city blacks and then the black community never saw it. They know how he used them to cash in bigtime. He just adds to the world blight.

The wrong guy got shot on that balcony
