Had my first winning day of hoops last time i posted. lets do it again.
lots of chalk today, not sure if i like it but oh well..
DISCLAIMER: I have said before, I watch all sports and have watched them my whole life, but NBA hoops is one thing I have not wagered on until this year. I am 4-5, and thats only because I got lucky and had a nice 3-1 day last week. I am starting too become more comfortable, but not enough too say I am overly confident in bettin hoops yet. I just share my plays hoping that I am on the right side and someone else maybe can benefit from it. Good luck whatever you play.
PLAYS:
PACERS -7 Think indiana will do enough at home too win this game. Toronto will probably hang until late in the 3rd, but home town crowd will be big and the pacers will pull away. I like their young talent, and their legs will outlast the raptors. Dunleavy, granger, hibbert, ford, and collison all can create enough plays too win this game. Lastly, this number seemed high too me, ecspecially with the pacers only being 3-5 at home, and 9-9 overall. 7 points seems like too many, and when I think that, i usually like going the opposite way.
HEAT -5 The heat are winners of their last 4, and 5 of their last 6. They are starting too play better together, and understand what they have too do too win. Honestly though, I love knwing I have money on James, Bosh, Wade, and the rest of the heats starters rather then gooden, jennings, and bogut. Dont get me wrong, they got some talent, and they just beat orlando in the same building they will be playing in tonite, but really think the heat are starting too hit their stride. I think miami is about to rattle of a ton more wins, and stretch their streak from 4 to somewhere around 10. It continues tonite in Milwuake. Go lebron. Love that guy.
OKC/CHITOWN over 204 This has all the potential too score way over this number. I realize that durant is great defender, and chitown plays good D, but what it comes down too is there is a ton of young guys on the court, and I think they are all gonna wanna outshine the rest. Rose for the bulls and durant for the thunder are going too get too the hoop, and get too it often IMO. They both should have big games. As long as the outside guys knock down their jumpshots, I think this has a great chance of being a high scoring game. (also gonna play OKC small on the ML, but not as a posted play just thought id share)
JAZZ -9.5 Utah lost their last game too the Mavs, but that was after a huge letdown in the second half. Kirilenko was quoted after the game saying, "?In the first half, we were running. We were active. We were pressing. In the second half, it was just a different team.? Well I can gaurantee they will not let that happen again tonite. I think they give memphis their best effort for all four quarters. The jazz were on a nice 7 game win streak before their loss too the mavs, and im sure they are anxious too get right back on the winning track. They are a different team at home, and it seems like they are always winning by large margins when they play in saltlake. Williams is averaging something crazy like 25 a game in their previous 6, and similar too durant and rose, i think he will take this game over and get too the hoop. I know 9.5 is a lot of points too lay, but I wouldnt be suprised if the jazz won by 20.
KINGS/CLIPS under 196.5 both teams suck. Griffin is only guy who can go off for 30 any given night. baron davis has old wrinkly balls and like i said both teams just suck. I know thaat means their defenses suck as well, but as long as they miss some shots early which could very likely happen, i think it has a chance too stay under.
overall i am glad i started bettin on hoops. Actually makes me interested too watch all four quarters. These guys are amazing athletes. It makes you realize how important foulshots and buzzerbeaters are too the world of gambling. ill prolly go 0-5 but hell gotta learn the ropes somewhere
