Is going to OT playing to lose? Not really, Id rather have 15 mins to decide the game then 1 play....especially when I have been pretty much doing what I want or atleast controlling tempo.....HERM EDWARDS IS AN ASSHOLE OF A COACH...and theres plenty more like him.

Herm Edwards stated in his press conference that the way his defense was banged up and playing he felt that his team wouldn't be able to stop the Chargers in OT....so he wasn't going to take a chance on winning the coin flip :shrug: ...I'm not so sure if I agree with him...but...if you're a Chiefs fan be happy because the more this team loses the higher the Chiefs will pick in the Draft giving them a better chance to add a high-quality player to their lineup.

When there is less than 1 min. in a game I would go for 2 everytime. It was the correct call. Why go into OT when it could be anyones game. You pick your best play and you gain a few yards. The play they called looked like shit, but thats besides the point.

yup, rolling out the QB and cutting off 3/4 of the field was a pretty bad decision...but what do I know...I only got ripped for grammer and my avatar in this post......

Because I got corrected on my grammer while venting and I responded? Bad thing is I actually thought you may have been a dedent dude after seeing you and Raymond putting a good group of plays together, but I guess I can be fooled just as well as you were over the last 8 years because evidently thats your preference. I just dont get where going for the win doesnt happen in OT as well...what he did was ask for his team to win the game in 1 play versus having the OT to decide it, my thing is if you lose in OT whats the difference from losing on a one play game winner? 2 pt conversions arent the easiest to convert in the NFL so I kick the fieldgoal and have a whole field to play the game, if they were to win the coin flip cross midfield good chance you can win that game....everyone saying they were gonna lose in OT, thats an arguement that could go for days. 1 busted play in OT makes you a winner, and then rolling the QB out and cutting off the field just amplifies how dumb he is. to think they let go of Marty Schoettenheimer for this ass gas
