personally as an arizona fan....i love it.....think they have a high end of 6th or 7th in the conf as opposed to 9th or 10th

i think its an excellent hire for asu. the guy really is a good coach. the problem is that the ncstate people never gave him a chance. they'd be in the top 25 or an a 7-game winning streak and then as soon as they lost a game, people would be calling for his head. very underappreciated imo. im not sure if asu if the best fit necessarily. and its a lateral move at best. but a fresh start will be good for everyone involved i think. id like to think ajoytoy would agree, but then again, he could feel completely different and be saying good riddance to herb

They are getting a good coach that will do everything by the book...sorry to see him leave, cause i knew he would keep the players in line...tough to coach in NC when the closest 2 teams are as successfull as the Heel and Dukies are...Fans want an immeadiate answer and just continously getting to the dance doesn't quiet the vocal supporters of the Pack...should be interesting to see who the get to replace him...good nucleus team returning...Sun Devils shoudl be worse with the hire IMO
