Forgive me in advance...I'll try to be brief 
and I know most of you really don't give a crap about my winning a big bet (for me anyway)... so if u aren't interested, feel free to move on now lol
okay, I mentioned a few times in the last few days I had a nice 7tm parlay working w/2 spots left open...
95 to win 5265 (can't remember exactly lol)
So, yesterday I took my Aztecs on the ML (vs UNM) and had UNM +6.5 (hoping Aztecs win by 1-6 for a middle)... well Aztecs won by 7 (UNM missed shot at buzzer for a middle) but the parlay advanced!! Price was reduced to almost 4200...cost me about 300 but I didn't care lol.. I stayed alive!
So... all wk I was winning... w/my mixture of 80-200 dollar plays and getting ahead $3500.
I hadn't been out in a few wks, so I end up going to sports bar last night, drinking and eating and watching gms, losing mostly, and blowing some bigger late bets, I drop about 2600... and I mostly bet 100-200...
I wake up this morning, see my acct.. pissed off and hungover lol
I still had my big parlay remaining w/1 spot left, and was looking to choose another favorite on the ML to fill in... so I could hedge with the dog+ pts
I choose Cinn ml cuz I'm looking for a game where hopefully it works out to be a close gm...
After putting Cinn ml into the parlay, it reduced to 95 to win $3247...
Had a 3tm par that had an open spot.. put in Cinn ml... is now 180 to win 602
So, I'm risking a total of 275 to win 3849 on Cinn ml...
So, planning the "hedging"... I'd used up several 3 tm pars that had 1 spot open yday.. plugged in too many losers yday instead of saving them for today lol...
I've got a nickel limit on any single bet, so I could only play 500 on Hou+ 6.5 pts (buying 2 pts)... thought about the Hou ml, used it to fill in parlay that was working w/Tex Arl... and it lost.. .so I only have the straight play, I'm hoping for Cinn Blowout beginning.. Hou creeps in late for a backdoor cover, right??
... and if it lands from 1-6, I get my "middle"...
So, 1H, the Hou guy heats up (5 3ptrs) and we're down at half...
I'm kicking myself.. after all this BS I'm only gonna make like 225 if Hou wins...
only win about 700 for the wk... stupid stupid stupid lol
Only thing I can do to hedge more is take 2nd half line...
so I lay another nickel on 2h Hou+4.5 (I need em to lose by 2, or 1 to win this bet)
well most of us probably saw what happened... bk n forth.. Hou up 55-52 last min.
A HUUUUGE 3pt shot (by the Cinn center!!) w/less than a min left to tie it up...
Hou time out... their play is run the clock down and shoot lol.. .
The same Cincy guy goes up and snatches the rebound, gets fouled...
and the same kid misses the 1st but makes the 2nd free throw w/3.5 seconds left... :00hour
Sweating thru the timeout, wondering what kinda play Hou will run?
if they make ANY basket I lose... well the kid throws it away... :spotting:
Now I know Cinn can't lose the gm... so I've got my original bet w/Ml + $3849...
AND I've got Hou +6.5 and I can't lose that..
BUT I still could lose the halftime bet if Hou fouls and sends Cinn to foul line AND IF he makes 2 ft's...
So now... I've gotta worry thru another timeout!
.. are they gonna foul and send Cinn to the line?
Will he make 1 ft? Will he make 2??
I'm ok if Cinn makes 1, but if they make 2 more pts, it's gonna cost me $1000...
Good news is, they didn't try to foul.... I love it when a plan comes together :mj07:
