I was wondering since you have direct contact with the sponsors here. Could you see if some of them would be willing to make a goalie play on the money line for us fellow pucksters. I mean think about it......its like asking me to pick boston on the money line -280 and its says Martinez must start and they sent out John Burkett.

totally agree

why should we not be allowed to play listed goaltenders in hockey similar to listed pitchers in baseball ???

IE/Jack Please NOTE.

Getting screwed couple of times due to goaltender change. And the option MUST / SHOULD be there.

Cheers !!!

hmmm that won't work....in baseball managers list the starters ahead of time...in hockey they rarely tell who will start so the oppossion keeps guessing...plus the books won't make has much $$$ that way

i have been getting burned by the backups they keep winning against me:shrug:

will never happen........some coaches don't know until hour before game.......books would find many games getting voided and it just wouldn't be worth their hassle........this will never ever happen........just a fact of life when betting hockey :)

I agree that goalies should be listed cause just last nite I had $$$ on the Kings to beat Buffalo and I had no idea the Kings back up goalie was starting and he let in 5 goal's, that pissed me off so bad cause I would have never bet on the King's knowing their back up was starting.

Kansas City area for who knows how long....
it did happen

it did happen

one book I recall did list them in playoffs, where the starting goalies are much more certain anyway.

some coaches like to keep it a secret. tho backup knows hours in advance if he is going. You do get last minute scratches--as you do with starters in baseball.

lots of inside folks make money off the secrets too, and they won't want it changed!

I wouldn't like them to be listed it 'cause it would hurt guys like us who research it and check websites and listen to broadcast (when I put in the effort!) and get the info most others don't have---and that's a hell of an edge.

the Huet start in goal follows similar pattern same spot in schedule last season. radio broadcast mentioned it with enuf time left to make bet (alas, I wasn't online to mention it here!).
