HELL
At least the Patriots will probably make the playoffs, and regardless I wouldn't want to play them.

As for the Steelers, just terrible without Polamalu, who stated he might be done for the year. Still haven't figured out how they are favorite over anyone, let alone -10 on the road even to Cleveland. For shit sakes, the just lost to Oakland at home.

curious to hear who the squeeler faithful think is the more important/valuable guy....polamalu or ben?....

Easily Ben, if they could sniff a pass rush Troy would not be missed as much. Without Ben, defenses stuff 10 in the box and stiffle the offense. Dixon looked ok vs Ravens, but a few weeks of film and defenses would ratlle him.

I would count the Steelers out after last week. Probably count the Patriots out as well, but they're still leading their division.

Pats will make the playoffs and their offense is still top 5 in the NFL. I wouldn't count the Patriots out until they're officially done because they should be a #4 seed at worst.

Have seen a number of #4 seeds do well in the playoffs including the Cards last year and the 2000 Ravens won it all as a #4 seed if memory is correct. Also, consider the Colts will be the #1 seed and we know NE can beat the Colts. NE can actually beat anyone one depending on the circumstances. Steelers... They're done.

Pats need to get it done on the road.
If they cant win on the road there toast.

Lets face it .There not the same team of the early 2000's.There defense is going thru transition.
They have lost Weiss,Crennel,Scott Peoli to KC,McDanials to Denver.

Plus having slackers like Moss and A.Thomas dont help.(Yeah Moss is good, but sometimes lacks effort,as for Thomas he just sucks.)

Every dog has there day. Will they make playoffs??Probably. Will they win SB?Not the way they are playing at the moment.

"the bunker"
it doesn't matter :mj07:

certaily not now...

i think ,as an outsider, polamalu is way more valuable than roethlisberger.....

it`s painfully obvious that this defense(without polamalu) is a joke......couldn`t stop cleveland`s ground game...

i honestly think you can find servicable qbs......finding game changers...game dominators on defense?...not so much....

teams had to gameplan around him....imo,thee most dominant defender drawing breath in the nfl....he`s all over the place...

seems to sap the "want to" out of the rest of the "d" when he`s out...

anybody think that oakland moves down the field and scores late to beat the squeelers on their own field with polamalu in there?....not me...

just my opinion...

hell they looked like one of the worst teams in the nfl, they are cooked, Browns played very well on D, won't take that away from them but Ben held the ball way to long many of times, steelers last play he could of ran for 1st down with no problem he forced the pass, any other time he would of took of?????

Pats and Steelers are both terrible this year - no chance of making playoffs so get that out of you homers heads.... They are terrible this year, period!!!

My Cowboys might not even make it in as a wild card after the next few games....
