I'll see if I can figure how to put up these I have Obama with Farrakan-Wright-Rezco--the Washington bombers--and might bring back the one in his Muslim garb.

By the way there is a new one out that might be on interest to you-- Its house where his brother-
George Hussein Onyango Obama--lives.

Actually not a house--more like cardboard box.

Article from Sun Times
http://www.suntimes.com/news/1119352,CST-NWS-brother21.article

by the way--You think O will be bringing his family on stage--like Michelle?

In her reinventing herself/obama speech last night she told you--

Mrs. Obama wasn't subtle in her effort to make the Obamas seem like, as one aide put it, the family "next door." Upon meeting her husband, she said, "What struck me...was that even though he had this funny name, even though he'd grown up all the way across the continent in Hawaii, his family was so much like mine ... Like my family, they scrimped and saved so that he could have opportunities they never had themselves."
:)

Scott:

While your at it, any photo of the Keating 5? Please make sure we get a nice side shot of John McCain, he looks better from the right. How bout Cindy McCain's step sister? The one she denies having. Any photos of Cindy McCains daddy and his felony record?

Much appreciated. Of course, in the interest of being fair and balanced.

How in this world did the people of a great nation stoop so low, scraping the bottom of the barrel,to hoist these two to the top of the political forum.
The winner will be the most powerful leader in the world.
We need change and these two want do in my opinion. We must find a way to end the two party system.Government is way to big and getting bigger.Corruption at every level on both sides. The fix is in and nothing that an average hard working American,or an illegal alien(since there are so many)can or will do about it.
I think that we all know that it's very sad that we must vote and elect one of two of the worst, most undisireable,do nothing, unworthy canidates in my lifetime. Hell one of these two may be worst than George Bush, now that's hard to believe.

The Obamas are closer to working Americans than the other couple. All the president can do is set the tone for America... The only chance we have is to limit the power of these two parties.. We went from carter to reagan/bush to clinton to bush....it's time for a democrat.. The Obamas are less intrenched into the power structure that is embedded into the structure against us...

Don't forget the one with Bush holding hands with that Saudi Prince. Do you think that was when he was trying to choose if he is straight or gay?

No,don't give up. You must start with solutions. My first move would be to start at the bottom of the food chain. Organize at city and state level.Get the third or even a fourth party involved in politics. People must change before our political leaders change.More accountability,do the right things or be removed from office by the vote of the people, maybe in 20 or 30 years with the power of the vote we may see change.
I have another thought. PAY THE PRESIDENT. Yes lets make it 50 or 100 million a year .A contract with clauses. Why do we pay ball players 10-20 million a year, hell coaches are making 2-5 million a year. You must show results ,bonus if you do good . Maybe that want work but the main purpose is to entice someone with a brain that knows how to run the largest corporation in the world.
Politicians are breeding and producing little politicians and that's NOT a good thing,if there bad, then what would you expect from someone that has been taught by a rotten, filthy crook to be.

Let me get this straight--

--You say he didn't vote present 130 times--after saying in his book everyone should vote yes or no?

---He didn't say he was a professor and was in fact a lecturer

--and STILLLLLLLLLLLLLL waiting for your's or anyone elses experience/qualification resume.

However I will go back and search his voting record in Ill AGAIN on the ones he did vote for.
Be back with them this evening in this thread.
Of course if I remeber correctly--you might be on sameside of issues-- ;)

for starters here are a few present votes--

Among those, Mr. Obama did not vote yes or no on a bill that would allow certain victims of sexual crimes to petition judges to seal court records relating to their cases. He also voted present on a bill to impose stricter standards for evidence a judge is permitted to consider in imposing a criminal sentence.

On the sex crime bill, Mr. Obama cast the lone present vote in a 58-to-0 vote.

Mr. Obama?s campaign said he believed that the bill violated the First Amendment. The bill passed 112-0-0 in the House and 58-0-1 in the Senate.

In 2000, Mr. Obama was one of two senators who voted present on a bill on whether facts not presented to a jury could later be the basis for increasing an offender?s sentence beyond the ordinary maximum.

State Representative Jim Durkin, a Republican who was a co-sponsor of the bill, said it was intended to bring state law in line with a United States Supreme Court decision that nullified a practice of introducing new evidence to a judge in the sentencing phase of the trial, after a jury conviction on other charges.

The bill sailed through both chambers. Out of 174 votes cast in the House and Senate, two were against and two were present, including Mr. Obama?s.

?I don?t understand why you would oppose it,? Mr. Durkin said. ?But I am more confused by a present vote.?

Mr. Obama?s campaign said he voted present to register his dissatisfaction with how the bill was put together. He believed, the campaign said, that the bill was rushed to the floor and that lawmakers were deprived of time to consider it.

Mr. Obama was also the sole present vote on a bill that easily passed the Senate that would require teaching respect for others in schools. He also voted present on a measure to prohibit sex-related shops from opening near schools or places of worship, which ultimately did not pass the Senate.

In both of those cases, his campaign said, he was trying to avoid mandates on local authorities.

John McCain Calls Convicted Felon with Ties to the Mob a "Role Model"

John McCain Calls Cindy's Father A "Role Model"
If abandoning your wife and child, being a convicted felon, and starting a business with help from mob ties makes one a role model, then Jim Hensley was indeed a role model.

In an interview with Katie Couric on August 23, 2008, McCain stated, "Cindy's father, who barely finished high school, went off and distinguished himself in World War II in a B-17 and came back with practically nothing and realized the American dream, and I am proud and grateful for that, and I think he is a role model to many young Americans who serve in the military and come back and succeed."

Hensley Dumps His First Family
Jim Hensley, Cindy McCain's father, and Mary Jeanne Hensley were married in 1937. In February 1943, their daughter Kathleen Anne Hensley was born. Jim was a bombardier in WWII and was injured while flying in Europe.

While recovering in West Virginia, he met Marguerite Smith. He divorced Mary Jeanne and he and Marguerite were married in 1945. Their daughter, Cindy Lou Hensley, was born May 20, 1945.

Jim Hensley, was for the most part, an absentee father to his first child. According to Portalski, "I saw him a few times a year. I saw him at Christmas and birthdays, and he provided money for school clothes, and he called occasionally."

After becoming a multi-millionaire, Hensley helped Portalski, giving Kathleen and her husband appx. $10,000 a year for about a decade and paying the college tuition of her children - his own grandchildren. Yet upon his death, Kathleen and her husband were left $10,000 and the grandchildren received nothing.

Bootlegging, Mob Ties, and Gambling
in 1945, Jim Hensley and his brother Eugene began working for Kemper Marley. Kemper Marley owned United Sales Company in Phoenix and United Distributors in Tucson.

Kemper Marley was purportedly a mob boss. According to the Albuquerque Journal , in a 1953 New Mexico State Police report, Kemper Marley, "is reputed to be the financial backer for the bookies" and "owned a wire service formerly operated in connection with bookmaking of the Al Capone gang." And though never charged, Marley is suspected of ordering the car bomb assassination of journalist Don Bolles in 1976.

In 1948, Jim and Eugene Hensley were indicted for falsifying liquor records to conceal illegal distribution of whiskey against post-war rationing regulations. Both men were convicted in U.S. District Court on federal charges of conspiracy and Jim Hensley was also convicted on seven counts of filing false liquor records. While Eugene was sentenced to one year in federal prison, Jim received a six-month suspended sentence.

In the early 1950s, Jim and Eugene Hensley bought into the Ruidoso Downs racetrack in New Mexico with equal partner Clarence "Teak" Baldwin. Yet a few months later, at a hearing before the New Mexico State Racing Commission, Jim and Eugene concealed the existence of Baldwin. Because of his illegal bookmaking, Baldwin had been banned from any ownership role. Additionally, New Mexico State Police discovered Kemper Marley was a financial backer for bookmakers with ties to Baldwin and with the bookmaking operations of organized crime. Despite that, Jim and Eugene were given their Ruidoso Downs racetrack license in 1953, a decision John F. Simms, governor of New Mexico's following administration called appalling.

In 1953 Jim Hensley and Kemper Marley were again charged with falsifying liquor records. This time Jim was defended by future Supreme Court Justice William Rehnquist. He and Kemper Marley were both men were acquitted.

In spite of being a convicted felon, Jim Hensley was somehow granted a state liquor license in 1955 (and later a federal liquor license) to found a beer distributorship. Hensley later switched to distributing exclusively Anheuser-Busch beer, and by 1980 Hensley & Company Distributors and Hensley & Company Wholesale had made Jim Hensley a multi-millionaire.

In 1981, Hensley hired his new son-in-law, John McCain, as Vice President of Public Relations for Hensley & Company. It was Hensley's money and influential ties throughout the state of Arizona that help McCain win his first campaign for the U.S. Senate.
