Hey Brother-

Just got a gig in Harrah's inTunica and will be driving up there on Saturday.....They are utting me up for a couple of weeks until I find a place. When I was up there two weeks ago for the interview teh folks were suggesting Southaven as a place to live. Wondering how long you have been in Memphrica and were to actually dare to enter it, what my best options are. Also any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am definatley moving there for the job opportunity, not for the location. Let me know what you can...........Thanks

...we "semi-jokingly" referred to that part of town as "Crackhaven" and I don't think that you want to live there.... You need to check with Stu, Phin and some of the other Memphis guys, but I know that they have built some nice places downtown aroud the river...other than that, you almost gotta head out east to the burbs.


...I'm sure that someone from memphis can provide a little more guidance.

Keyser, you didn't ask me but i have lived here for 25 yrs. If i were you i would live downtown. A great place is called South Bluffs. It is a relatively new gated complex with nice places. It is about 40mins from the casinos, but everything you would need will be close by. Are you looking for a house or apartment. If you live in Miss. you will have to pay an income tax which is no fun.
