Eternal-
Been kinda slow in here huh?
Teams under .470 are 9-0 so far.

When does the scallop season open? :)
When I was 14 or so I used to go out with a neighbor and help him in R.I. I think it was Aug or Sept.
Up at 4:00 am 1/2 hour drive to Wickford and the power boat. Dredging for scallops and pick up the lobster pots. Back at 4:30 pm to unload the catch where a team of twelve women were waiting to schuck the scallops into gallon containers.
Good times-

Milwaukee Brewers at Atlanta Braves

Key Injuries

Brewers: The Brewers are one of only three teams in baseball to use just five starting pitchers this season. That may change if southpaw Manny Parra keeps pitching so poorly. Parra has dropped his past three starts, giving up 22 runs and 26 hits in 14 innings during this span. Parra?s ERA has climbed from 4.82 to 6.75 following these last three losses. Milwaukee is just 5-16 during Parra?s past 21 starts, including 2-9 in his last 11 road outings. The Brewers, though, have defeated the Braves in eight of the past 11 meetings. Parra will be working against a Braves team that hasn?t scored in 22 straight innings. Prince Fielder has smacked six homers in 15 games at Turner Field. He?s hit more homers at Turner Field than any Atlanta player has this season except for Kelly Johnson. Brewers closer Trevor Hoffman hasn?t allowed a run in 17 appearances this year.

PROJECTED SCORE: 4

The Brewers are 2-7 in their last nine games as an underdog.

The over is 7-0-2 in Parra?s last nine starts as an underdog.

Richie Weeks is out for the season with a wrist injury.
Braves (-$1.45, O/U 9.5 under -$1.25): Tommy Hanson makes his much anticipated big league debut. Considered Atlanta?s best pitching prospect this decade, Hanson dominated International League competition with a 1.49 ERA and 90 strikeouts in 66 1/3 innings at Triple-A Gwinnett this season. Hanson allowed just 40 hits and 17 walks in 11 starts. Hanson should be extremely excited with 30-to-40 family members and friends coming to see the 22-year-old pitch. The Braves, however, are in a severe run-producing slump. They have scored two or fewer runs in seven of their last 11 games. Atlanta is 3-8 in its last 11 contests. The Braves have dropped three in a row. The Braves have scored one or no runs in six of their past 12 home games. Star third baseman Chipper Jones said he should be ready to play today after leaving in the sixth inning on Saturday because of dizziness. Atlanta is 16-35 versus NL Central foes.

PROJECTED SCORE: 5 (UNDER - Total Play of the Day)

The Braves have gone Over in 9 of their last 12 when facing a left-handed starter.

First baseman Casey Kotchman is day-to-day with a shin injury.

Scallops??? I live in the western part of the state, so none of that around here. The lifestyle is a whole lot different for the cape cod/ shoreline towns.
Yeah, I kinda noticed that the crap teams are doing well in the chase, but that's the way it goes.
Washington is so bad, I started a chase going against them yesterday (of course they won), and I'm going to keep going to win 1 unit, just like the HF system. WASH hasn't won more than 3 in a row all season, be it home or away.
