High Immigration cities are the safest in US

not demonizing mexicans....i actually don`t blame them...but you can`t just throw open the borders.....

if mexicans,why not just expand the underclass in this country by importing more folks from haiti, bangladesh, cambodia and yemen?..why are mexicans so privelged?.....it`s the right thing to do....

that stuff going on in greece -- riots, protest.,violence...yeah, i like that....let's get some of that...after all, we're no longer a republic...we`ve stopped protecting our borders...

hell,the only reason we don`t have an even worse immigration issue coming from south america is because mexico takes it`s border security seriously...and that`s one of the truly ironic circumstances in this debate...

you just can`t....CAN`T even consider giving all these illegals in the country some sort of immunity UNTIL YOU SHUT DOWN THE BORDER...

that was one of the huge mistakes that reagan made...what exactly did that accomplish?...here we are 24 years later and it`s much worse...

It's interesting to me to think what we have to do just going from one country to another. Checkpoints, providing documentation, passport, etc. If I get pulled over, I have to provide my drivers license and proof of insurance. To obtain anything of value, I have to provide drivers license, SSN, etc.

I do find that interesting, Terry, and it does kind of fly in the face of the sanctuary cities mentality. But especially after the Times Square bomb attempt, again, for me, this is a matter of National Security. I just think it's not a big problem if anyone is checked these days. Provide what you should have, and move on. If you are harassed, and are a legal citizen, that's different. If you are not a legal citizen, you should not be allowed to say. Why not start there, with everyone that is checked, and go from there?

Freedom comes with responsibility, and it is a privilege, not a right, for those who were not born in this country. I would not expect to just walk into Canada or Mexico, expect to live or work there, and be granted the same privilege that citizens of those countries have.
