sure he'll live. I'm sure he at LEAST has a broken femur, a broken pelvis, and a closed head injury, but I bet he'll make it. He was struggling when they first approached his car after the wreck (that's why the cops were breaking his window out), and when the paramedics were getting him out, you could see him try to sit up on the backboard.

Once he comes down off of whatever he was on, he's in for a world of hurt and long recovery which I'm sure will be directly followed by a stint in the the pen. Glad that wasn't in Kentucky so I don't have to take care of him. That would suck!

Haha no shit..

From what I hear this chase lasted over an hour..

There has to be a better way to stop these cars rather than waiting for some country bumkin to crash into him?

It just seems they let these things go until some unlucky civilian crosses paths with them and puts a stop to it.

These all seem to end the same way. :sadwave:

That's part of problem the news. They break into real news to put some idiot in a chase. It does not deserve the coverage.

"the bunker"
should be a mandatory sentence for a suspect that flees from police in a motor vehicle....

i say 5 years and go from there.....it`s a public safety issue...

Give it a couple of years, and hopefully, chases like this will become minimalized. GM (OnStar specifically) already has the technology in the car that the will allow them to cut the engine and the car will slow down and there is nothing the driver can do. For now, it is not much help, since the car would need to be a GM and 2009 (are there any of these cars even on the road). Give it a few more years and many of the other major car companies will have the same ability.
