JOE KAPP MOVE !

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

HELL YEAH, did you see that, HILL lower his shoulders and make that first down without his helmet.

You "mature" guys will remember Joe Kapp, who played for the Vikings when men were men, He made a move just like that once in a game.

AWESOME !!!

ROGER, please brush up on your NFL history, I remembered TWO great seasons

So I checked and here is what I found:

Kapp led the Minnesota Vikings to their first-ever divisional title and playoff game in 1968 and the following year guided the Vikings to Super Bowl IV against the Kansas City Chiefs.

In 1964, Kapp led the CFL British Columbia Lions to their first Grey Cup win, and earned a spot in the CFL Hall of Fame. He is the only player to quarterback in an NFL Super Bowl, CFL Grey Cup and NCAA Rose Bowl games. And Kapp is the last quarterback to throw seven touchdown passes in an NFL game!

:director: That ain't bad !!!

You got me. I had 1969 on the brain and then it seemed like he was injured and they stuck Gary Cuozzo in and the Purple People Eaters lost to either the 49ers or the Cowpokes. Great team and loved watching Page and Eller terrorize QBS
