I missed the point. But I do believe she should let Al Gore do it. Al does a better job of it. For some reason MR Bush answers Al the very next day. Thats good for Mr Bush no free rides. He should keep telling us over and over how good things are in Iraq. He seems to be thinking all is on schedule there. I dont know if anyone ever had a schedule. But at least he knows of one.

Just thought this needed a look at since Hillary & Bill never accept responsibility- IMO. The economy, 911, Cailfornia's Budget Deficit, etc. This is just another case of blaming or pointing the finger at everyone else..
Bill Richardson was on CNN telling the anchor that Clinton's & the present administration had their hands tied by Congress, the Utilities & all the red tape regarding upgrading the Electrical Grid. Guess he is part of the right wing conspiracy too. And Yahoo News had an article about how Billary is retreating from helping out Gray Davis now since he sees who's joined the opposition. Article had stated that Billary was mad that his advice to Gray was leaked to the press. i.e., "Just keep telling them you are working for the people,' and "Keep a high profile of being at work." That is put up a good front.
I am open to convincing arguments, but the 'left' just doesn't quite cut it for me. And shouldn't the Hollywood Elite be in the 'Rich' Class? We know how much hypochrisy is there- think Babs Streisand for starters.
More & more Hillary and Arianna Huffington seem to be acting more alike.

Not out to insult, just giving my 2 cents :weed:

Chan, I agree with alot of what you said but why did you leave out Arnold and Dennis Miller when talking about celebrities and politics?

StevieD, djv, etc.- always welcome your opinions & posts. I don't agree w/some of them, but I could very well be wrong and looking to see where my logic is astray. Don't ever think I'm attacking you or your train of thought. One thing I really like about this forum is there is so much one can learn. All posts , even those against me, are welcome, if explained. That being said I just wanted to add that I'm not sure what you mean by leaving out Denny & Arnie? I don't listen to Dennis Miller, (Good sig on him from the Simsons tho), and Arnie is only throwing his hat in the ring. If he could delegate and achieve the desired results I think it would open a lot of eyes- Personally I think this is what Bush is doing w/ mediocre results. Of course we have all these other problems to attend to regarding the Economy, Home Security, Power Distribution, etc. and Iraq, although Bush put us in the Iraq situation. Now it looks as though Cruz Bustamonte is in the lead for the CA Gov. race. Might as well open the borders cause thats what I see if he is elected. Just can't understand how ppl are expected to go thru the legal process, or secure our borders when we pass legislation allowing Driver's licenses, and such to those here Illegally. I had a very hard time putting myself thru College because of tuition, Student aid and so on even though I was a Vet. Now we even give Undocumented Immigrants reduced tuition. Guess I'm a racist- even though the wife is an Import, (Asian.) Technically I think the term is 'Race Traitor.' Well I'm off this weekend so going to take a ride. Hope your weekend is also a romp. Later, Chan :slomo

Chanman one thing for sure your thoughts are good ones. We will never agree on all. As it should be. But for folks wanting to come into our country sit on there ass not do much. Or find ways to kill and cause injuries. Well being a vet to.. Any time they want some of us to guard the borders. I'll be happy to. But I get to bring by 50 with and I intend to use it. Believe you and other vets here know what I mean. Maybe a few bouncing bettites placed in a few key spots would work well. As for Hillary. Her speeking about Bush is her job to do so. But I still thing Al does it better. For what ever reason when Al does say something. The next day Bush has his face in front of the TV screen saying something back. But thats ok. We deserve to here it all. Look at that nuke screw up in Bushs speech. Those things need to be on the up and up. We all deserve to here the best and bad of both parties.

Chanman, I agree with what you said about illegal aliens. I was refering to your reference about Celebs stating their opinions. You mentioned Babs who happens to speak dribble for the dems. I was just trying to keep things fair and balanced by pointing out that celebs speak out for the republicans too.
I happen to think it is a good thing when celebs speak. If they are for the left or the right. Not that these people are geniuses but because they can get a message out. What we need in this country is a free exchange of ideas. Me and you could do it but who would listen? The celebs have the soap box so let them use it I say.

I almost puke when Dennis Miller starts his spew anymore. Used to actually enjoy his HBO show but now can't stand the very sight or sound of his lame ass. Ever secretly hope someone gets a shovel taken to their face? Despise the bastard. Of course, now that Huffington is everywhere I look, I can hate both a right and left winger equally. Shovels, we need more shovels.

HILLARY=HILARIOUS. SHE NEEDS BILL TO STOP CHEATING ON HER WITH THE HELP AND GIVE HER A LITTLE BILLY' BOB. SCREW IT. LEFT OR RIGHT THE IMMIGRANT SITUATION IS A JOKE. I LIVE IN MEMPHIS AND OUR GOV HEALTHCARE (TENN CARE IS ABOUT BROKE). REGARDLESS OF TH POLITICIAN OR PROGRAM I THINK EVERYONE SERVES HIS OR HER OWN AGENDA. I REALIZE THIS IS A POOR ATTITUDE BUT I AM TIRED OF POLITICIANS IN GENERAL.
