Supreme Court ruled the State did not violate the "single-subject" requirement of Pa. Constitution which is that a piece of legislation must have a single issue or topic. The adultBasic Program will not be reinstated and the Tobacco Settlement Fund will not be used for adultBasic.
adultBasic was Health Insurance that was set up by State of Pennsylvania in 2002 after Pennsylvania received a settlement from Tobacco Company for $440 million a year thru 2025 they decided to provide affordable Health Insurance based on your income.
No mention of whose pocket these monies will fill but I'm sure State Pensions will be get a piece
