1)n.o/buff ov 52(2x)...n.o. scoring in the 40-ish range thus far...matter of fact neither team has given up under 20 yet this year....
both have very talented passing games with big-time receivers..
...n.o. ranks 31st in pass defense...that may be because teams are playing from behind...that`s fine with me ...detroit and philly sans mcnabb put up over 20 on them....and who gives a shit whether it`s in catch-up mode or not?...we`re talking points here.....if it`s because the bills are playing from behind,that`ll do for the over...i like having edwards throwing to owens/evans and reed in catch-up mode....
buffalo may try and play ball control...but i don`t think it`ll work...both have decent run defenses,so i expect a passing duel...

2)tenn+2.5....i am one that thought the jets were gonna be a factor this year...i`ve always preferred them on the road as they have always been a stronger road dog than home fave...
have to believe that fisher will do everything in his power to get in the win column...
the jets are better than advertised...the titans are better than their record...and despite their records, the titans are still better than the jets....
2-0 vs 0-2...just like the set-up.. wouldn`t like this match-up as much if it were in tennessee and the jets were the dogs.....

jets run defense hasn`t really been tested yet..they will be this week...plenty of pitches and screens to counter rex`s frenetic blitz schemes...

3)also taking s.d. after watching manning just destroy the miami pass defense last week(despite key injuries to their receiving corps)with around 15-20 minutes possesion time,i`ll go against the consensus and believe that san diego refocuses here...prepares for the wildcat...and passes the phins into oblivion......after seeing dallas clark maim the dolphin secondary,it`s scary contemplating what rivers and gates might do coming off a disappointing home loss...
the dolphins have some serious issues in their passing game/receiving corps...bad hands...pedestrian talent...immobile qb....
short,coast to coast week for the phins... and the chargers have to visit pittsburgh next weekend....1-3 going into the bye a real possibility with a loss here...

the one thing that bugs me is the fact that san diego basically wins this division by default,so,this team`s motivation is always a ?....

non-contest leans:
i`m prolly taking the points with detroit and buffalo this weekend(hoping to get 7 with each...really like buffalo to keep this close and think detroit has a real shot at an outright win)...and i`m sniffing our fearless leader`s butt on the cincy+ pick being that he`s hotter than a romanian waitress in a mini-skirt and i`m colder than a well-digger`s ass in alaska.. ..
