Seven is a REAL important number for the books... Like in YANKS game last nite, you have a 3-1 game, one bad play and it's 3-3, and NOW, a run is 7, which amounts to no action, but they'd rather load the JUICE and hope, than move off 7. And when you have SO MANY big bats in a game, a dinger is a killer to the UNDER most times, but with the wind coming it, it's not likely.
Also -140 to me, means THE BOOKS think it's going UNDER, and want US to pay the JUICE to go OVER. A 7 at WRIGLEY USED to be unheard of... Yesterday's game will probably have JOE BLOW PUB jumping on the OVER too, since they saw the 23 runs or whatever, and SAMMY going deep 3 times. JOE PUB rarely look at weather reports, umps, etc... to get a real clue on the situation. It's FRIDAY, JOE PUB is in town!! Right NCU???

PLEASE!!! No updates... we have the game on TV. Thanks TEDY for cooperating... This gets on MAD JACK's and others nerves, post the final if you want, and hopefully you just did!

Thanks.. and no problem. There's places to get the AUDIO over the internet, like www.mlb.com. I bought GOLD PASS from REALPLAYER for 9.85 for 3 months, listen in on any game going. Or watch play by play there by clicking scoreboard, then live play by play. OR, go to ESPN.com, click on Scores under MLB, then, click on the GAMELIVE link under the game you want to watch, and you got pitch by pitch updates... not the same, but better than watching a ticker.
Man that sucks... I was ONLY on the CUBS til I saw the HP UMP. Went from WINNER to push it looks like. STILL believe, UNDER was the way to go... SAN FRAN stunk up the joint. With the wind holding up all the HR's, this game should have been 4-1 at most. TWO HR's by LH batters off LH pitchers... but the biggest deal was the walks and HBP's from ESTES. Didn't help the PITCHER gets two hits and scores twice either.
