Monday thoughts...

1. Braves/Toronto Under 9.5 [-125]

Burkett has been pitching well for several games, and is especially tough on the road. In 40 innings has given up 31 hits and 7 runs.

2. Braves [-134] over Toronto

Going with the better and hotter team. Michalek gave up 4 runs and 6 hits vs. T.Bay in 5 &1/3 last start. Toronto won this series 2-1 last year, is 3-7 on current homestand.

3. Chipper Jones +105 total bases over Carlos Delgado.

Chipper is seemingly on a real hot streak right now

LEAN: Atlanta -135 for the 3 game series.

4. Texas [+150] at L.A.

Prokopec is pitching well, lost at Arizona his last start. Oliver had a nice start in his last game, coming off an injury, giving up only one run and 5 hits in 7 innings vs. Seattle, but also took the loss. Cant see giving -160 for the Dodgers. Small play, maybe 1/2 a unit.

Monday re-cap:

1. Braves Under 9.5 [lost 9-4]
2. Braves over B-Jays [4-9]
3. Jones over Delgado [won]
4. Texas over L.A. [won 12-7]

2-2 for -.4 units, a small loss for the day. The Braves had 3 consecutive errors in the 6th inning while holding a 3-2 lead, and the side and total discombobulated from that point. Looked like they were trying to lose/.

Season: 14-7 for +5.85 BR
