15 days in jail (assuming he actually had to serve it and it wasn't some sort of suspended sentence) is probably going overboard.

What do you do with an asshole like that, though? If you go out and beat him down you will be the one in trouble.

the parent, how about the coaches that just sat there? I know an eye for an eye isn't what you are suppose to teach youngsters, but in the moment, it would have been tough to be restrained if I was an opposing coach.

I thought it was odd that the video centered on the coach, he must have been pretty mouthy during the game for the person recording to presume he was going to act up afterwards.

That would be my urge but I would resist- great teaching moment for your kids. Beating him down tells your kids that violence is the proper response to being wronged. Part of growing up to be a strong man is knowing and understanding when to withhold IMO. Don't get me wrong, I'd want to crush him. And if my boys weren't around I would...but with them watching, we learn how to be real men.

I coach youth baseball, soccer and basketball and do not argue with opposing coaches, umpires or fans (you'd be surprised how many coaches argue calls in 5-7 year old sports), but I would have flown off the handle had I been present. I haven't struck another man in 20 years, but my limits would have been pushed in this instance.

I coached 13-15 year old baseball (Babe Ruth) and I would argue calls, only because the home team's umps were generally biased. It was sickening.

If those were my kids, I would have been very pist but since they weren't I find it a little funny. I mean he has no chance of hurting those kids and those kids are armed with sticks, he could of got his ass whipped as hockey is a sport where you usually take care of it on the ice. That coach is such a dumbass. Where did it happen??

Happened in Vancouver.. Wow, I figured it would of happened at a location where hockey is just being introduced but at the same time hockey is very serious up there. I wonder what those kids did to piss off that coach
