Sorry about Rider-St Pete last nite.Bad job on my part.Thought Rider would step up but Clark killed them with his shooting.Passed on Niagara-Iona since Smith played.Like Iona tomr if the line is right vs Siena.
Hofstra -5 over William and Mary
This is Pride vs the Tribe.Two weeks ago Pride went down to Vir and beat WM 66-51.Hofstra is a different team with Apodaca back.They were 2-12 before and now 3-3.WM has been playing good too winning 3 of last 4.
But WM has one big player in Hess.He avg 20 pts and 6 bds a game.Pecora did a great defensive job on him a few weeks ago holding him to 9 pts.They have no on else in double figures but Jenkins and Rivers avg 9 pts.
Apodaca has been on fire.His presence has led Hof to the top rebounding team in the CAA.He is avg 18 pts and 5 bds while Adeleke is avg 17 pts and 11 bds.
Pride defense is solid as they are No1 in conf in def 3pt%.That is WM's one strength and Hess is a big threat from there.Hof's Radziejewski has hit 9 tre's in a row and the other nite vs JMU the Pride hit 13.
In the paint Hof ranks No1 in off. bds.I think today they control the bds,pressure Hess and get a double digit win.Apodaca and Adeleke will be to much for the Tribe to handle.
Manhattan -14 vs Canisius
Listened to Bobby G on the radio yest for a half hour.His kids are pumped up.All talk about the "Big Dance" and how manhattan will have to win the MAAC tourney to get in because at large births go to the 4th and 5th place teams in the B-12,B-east,etc.He did say some intresting things about how lyr he was knocked out of the tourney because he played everybody to much.He said he "won't burn them out and will rest his players during the game.
Jaspers will pressure Dux and Mallory.Spruil will have a tough time trying to keep off Holmes and co inside.
Flores continues to dominate everyone.Jackette is now back and he is there best shooter.Jaspers should win this and cover.
WKU -7.5 over North Texas
Last week NT beat a pretty good New Mex St team at home.But this team still lost to Ark st at home by 8 and just lost to Mid Tenn by 20 on the road.NT can't rebound and has given up 88,68,74,76,89,75 and 83 in their last games.Boyden will have a big nite tonite.

superbook,good info on Smith playing last nite.I had my computer all set.All I had to do was hit submit to play Iona.I turned on MSG and they announced Smith was playing.I ran over to my computer about a minut before the jump ball.I played Iona and a red message came.Game started."no it didn't" I said.But my computer doesn't talk back.Damn.
And I watched the whole game.I wanted Niagara to win so bad to make me feel better.
