You play horses like I did for over 20 yrs, DT. Ah, make that OVER 20 yrs. :scared
ABSOLUTELY
luved the sport/game. No bookies for me, no OTBs, no internets, just HIT the track, smelled the grass, hay, and horseshit. Followed the BIG GUNS in N.Y. and occasionally Monmouth. I actually did hit Philly a few times (my sister lives close by). Usually went with a friend(s), a date, or even by myself and had a great time despite going home with nearly empty pockets most of the time. FORTUNATELY, rarely bet heavily. Believe me, I wouldn't be where I'm at today if I did.

No mo... hit Calder, Gulfstream occasionally. LUVED Hialeah (was one beautiful track even in it's late years; just got run down). Live much further away from the tracks now than I did in N.J. Would hit Calder more often, but that place has gone downhill.

See that big race today at Philly? These days, for me that's just a field of 6 on an off track with two pretty heavily bet favorites. Not for me anymore. These days i just love (no "ABSOLUTELY" anymore) playing them racehosses, pick my spots at ONE track that I got to understand way more than the others and, best of all - have more days in between the "empty pocket ones" where I leave the place (online, of course, thems made it TOO easy to playem these days) with overloaded pockets. These days, them hosses gotta come to me cause I don't come to them anymore.

Would I do them losing years all over again if I had that choice... you BET I would :)

Just something to think about.

Good luck today and TOMORROWS, DT. AND thanks for stopping by.
