Just passing along info; i get these comps in emails all the time ... fwiw im not touching game in any way
THURSDAY'S COMP PICK
I've won 9 of my last 13 football complimentary plays, including 5 in a row in college thanks to last Saturday's winner on Texas. Tonight, I'm calling for the 5th consecutive Over in the Boston College-Virginia Tech series.
The linemaker has attached a pretty low price for this game's total, and for good reason, since V-Tech has the nation's # 1 ranked scoring defense, a unit allowing only 9 points a game, while BC's is ranked # 6, with a yield of 14 an outing. But, neither has been tested this season by an offense as diversified as each brings to the field tonight.
Keep in mind the Hokies have scored 45, 51 and 41 points in their three homes games this season against the likes of Ohio, Georgia Tech and Marshall. Now, none of those teams, with the exception of G-Tech, brings an offense as balanced as Boston College's to the table.
On the other hand, V-Tech hasn't been tested by the likes of an Eagles' attack that put 35 on the board against Wake Forest and 28 versus Virginia in their last two games.
Virginia Tech has gone over the number in four of its last five games, including all three at home. Take advantage of the low number and take the over.
3* Boston College-Virginia Tech Over (on a 1* to 5* scale)
