who's more qualified to answer than former players actually hall of famers. Deion sanders said "no it was officiated that way whole game and look at crabtrees reation exactly there was none what nfl receiver doesn't react in that situation one that knows its not a penalty". Marshall faulk said no. Michael Irving no Crabtree slowed his route mistake 1 he initiated contact mistake 2 ref can't make that call. Good enough for me.

Like this post a lot

And the biggest thing to me,

It wasn't catchable

So can't call it....

Did not know that.

Didn't realize it matter.

I stand corrected. Thank you sir.

Don't think it shoulda been a call eitherway.

Like the no call.

Holding all the way. The only reason for the push off was to get free from the grab wrapped around him. Refs didn't have the balls to make the call. And you can't compare other games to this, the refs are sooooo inconsistant from game to game.

SF blew it with their play calling. Balt. didn't stop their 3 back look all night, but SF didn't run the ball. Only run was the play they didn't get off because of the T.O. called.

Bottom line is that 2 SF turnovers killed drives and their defense and special teams gave up big plays. Niners played like dog shit for 50 minutes.

I had the Ravens and it was holding.

This was a poorly called game both ways with alot of obvious calls missed. I'm never in favor of the refs interjecting themselves but, all year long the QB hit out of bounds was a penalty and that last play in the endzone was holding 95% of the time.

Not really. Finally the target will be on Raven's backs instead of Pittsburgh. I don't see the Niners going away anytime soon.

Steelers officially released Chris Rainey, prolly end up in Baltimore. They like players of that caliber, no?

holding, and PI thereafter since it impeded the player from getting to the spot. and after watching replay, it was catchable: a fade route to the back of the endzone that you'd typically have your toes in and arms stretched. but we've seen that done many times. so, preventing the player to get there by holding is it fact PI. that said, i feel baltimore still would have won the game somehow. they had timeouts and with 1:40 left they would only need a fg. sf hasn't stopped flacco all game.

so yes refs screwed up on the noncall but imo it didn't affect the ultimate winner. think we all saw a higher force at work that even though sf might seemed to have more athletic talent, balty had this one because it was their time...someone made a great reference about the heat vs mavs in 2011 finals.

Of holding. No question about it. If the excuse is that the game was on the line than the PI on 49ers on the previous drive shouldn't have been called either. It was a bang bang play and the refs blew it. Now, no team loses because of one play but it sucks to have a game decided on such an obvious blown call.

For the record, I had no money on the game and am obviously a Cowboys fan. I am happy for Jack that his team won. This is just an objective opinion. Crabtree's entire involvement was to try and stop the guy from holding him, lol.

But it was a very entertaining game.

Yes it was holding. Just because it is the end of the game you do not throw the rule book away. If anything it is more important on that play than any other.

Refs do the same thing in the NHL, you have to kill someone to get a penalty late in a close game.

well,if all you "holders" want to rewrite history, the falcons should have another shot at scoring because tony gonzales was held on their 4th down play during the final drive deep in frisco territory....

so,maybe frisco didn`t belong there in the first place...

lets keep extrapolating backward and see if we can figure out who kidnapped the lindbergh baby....
