Well, it's the right bowl for an upset (historically), however all I keep hearing is how Oregon is going to come out flat because they don't want to be there and virtually every prognosticator is picking the Sooners in this one...this kind of talk has to be getting to the Ducks a little. I think they actually show up for the game. Oregon 35 OU 17

Better check on where the refs are from. After watching the Sun Belt School of the Blind Officiating Team last night, this might be a new handicapping criteria. :mj07:

I think anyone that believes that Oregon is going to come into this game 'flat' because they got screwed out of a BCS game is misguided. I think they'll come into the game with a chip on their shoulder. . . for the same reason. They'll want to prove that they belong in the upper echelon.

People still aren't giving the PAC 10 much respect. I remember the same kind of rhetoric from the Big 12 (Oklahoma) zealots right before the National Championship game last year. There may be some crow left over from that game. . .although I doubt it.

I do like Oklahoma, but small.
Peterson is second best back in nation when healthy, IMO.
Bomar is tough and has really improved, but remember he is only a freshman. His mobility has been underestimated by alot teams, kid can tuck and run at any time.
Even though OK comes in as dogs, Bomar will be feeling some pressure of his first bowl game, and this could be a factor coming down the stretch in the fourth.
Okie should be worried about their O Line more than anything.

The Oregon motivational factor will obviously be huge, and unfortunately no one, no matter what they say, knows how motivated the Ducks will be until they get hit in the mouth a couple of times.

I personally feel they will be ready to play, just my opinion, but I also think these teams match up well, and will take the points with OU.

if every tout is on OU then why as the line jumped up

Mode, all the consensus web pages I check show Oregon money coming in 3.5 to 1 or close to it depending on where you look. Have to wait til closer to gametime, but I would guess public money will be on Oregon. Best of luck to all. JP

I'm on board volfan. I've been watching you all year. Thanks all year. Good luck to us.

I also like the under with a (now healthy) former hiesman canidate running the ball and a OU secondary that does enough to stall drives.

1 unit OU +3.5
1 unit Par (OU +3.5) (Under 57)
