agree about Rogue. There are 5 breweries that I can say that I've never been turned off by any of their offerings, and I've sampled essentially all that they produce. Those would be Rogue, Breckenridge, Half Acre (Chicago), Great Lakes and Brooklyn.

I feel that way about Dogfish Head.

Get on this one if you can. Not widely distributed. Luckily, one of my employees is going home for Thanksgiving to Akron, OH and picking up a couple of cases. :popcorn2

Gonna have to red box your ass for this one. One sip of this shit and you'll be cursing Dawgball's name.

I wouldn't say that necessarily, plenty of guys on here are more into the craft beer micro brew movements than I am, though I enjoy them and the variety it has provided.

Plenty out there I haven't tried yet, but willing to give all a go, at least once.

Never heard of Half Acre out of Chicago...
wiki pages say its available in the metro area only-will have to send my brother on a beer run for me and bring it to Wisconsin this week.
There are a few from Breckenridge and Brooklyn that I don't care for, but its not because of the quality--they are fantastic breweries.

It's just a small operaqtion that has limited distribution as you noted. Great stuff though and they are starting to expand their operations/production which should mean their distribution as well as offerings. Outside of getting it on tap at a local bar, they only can it, 16 oz'ers. Great taste even out of a can which many micro's can't say.

there is a local brewpub/brewery here that puts their beer out in 16 oz cans, too. The owners were convinced that the new liners made for the cans would preserve the beers true flavor--I agree--imagine the weight saved by the cans packaged in 4 pks vs a 6 pk of bottles. Ironic thing is their beer isn't very good, IMO. :142smilie

If you like Belgian beer I highly recommend the beer below. Pretty much anything from Ommegang is great and this is no exception. It's about 10 bucks but well worth it...more of a sipping beer but I enjoyed it enough to go pick up another tonight.
