I was just going to start a thread on this game actually. I'm sure the talking heads will act like this is a huge upset, but it's not much of an upset at all. Things to consider...
1) Seattle is a TERRIBLE road team. When was the last time they blew anyone out on the road?
2) They are even worse when it comes to east coast road games. The time difference kills them.
3) They have no running game, and they couldn't pass the ball today because of the wind.
4) I've been saying this for years... Holmgren is one of the worst play-calling coaches you will ever find. In a 3-0 game and the ball at the Carolina 8 on 3rd and 5, he runs a handoff up the middle to Morris, their BACKUP RB. Once again, he's WAY too conservative, just playing for the tie late in the 4th instead of trying to win. They're a great passing team, but he runs it to ensure the FG.
And the last thing, they're not as good as their record indicates. Their offense is very good but their defense isn't as good as everyone thinks. A smart team would just attack Trufant and Jennings on quick slants and outs all day long. You would never have to punt the ball if you did that.
Just my .02...
