ESPN reports :

The Mavericks are 4-7 when facing elimination in the playoffs. Three of the wins came last season, when they rallied from an 0-2 deficit to defeat the Utah Jazz in the first round. Dallas has never won an elimination game after the opening round.

I want to play Dallas so badly tonight but stats dont lie..

Just like yesterday with LA winning 11 straight on the road and they were looking for 12 as the did !

If you are undecided, it's best to lay off or wait for 2H line. The opportunity may be better @ the half. Be patience and don't force a play. Later

L.A. *won* their 11th straight yesterday, not their 12th. I think a more important stat for Dallas is that they are 3-1 in the current era when facing elimination.

stats from 30 years ago on a particular team are irrelevant....that stat had nothing to do with this game.....as Nick said, the 3-1 record of last year when facing elimination was relevant......before last year, if you would have used an antiquated stat of a 1-6 record when facing elmination you would have lost 3 in a row....that 1-6 record included games with Rolando Blackman and co. against Magic, Big Game James, and the rest of Showtime -- hardly relevant to Steve Nash, Dirk Nowitzki, and Michael Finley

a trend is worthless unless it applies to the game you are betting on.....you ought to be able to point to a particular reason why that trend is hitting as well in order to see if it is still valid...
