Shocked that he is being so blaise about this... He has just opened a can of worms that is going
a) to be a Sportscenter headline
b) Require backtracking and apology
c) Require a statement by the AD
d) Require a statement by school president
e) Have every game he has ever coached put under a magnifying glass
f) Put his job and career at risk


People on twitter think I am insane right now for saying this but I would not be surprised to see Lane suspended pending investigation.

I get a coach doesn't care if they win by 1 or 100, just win. However, worst comment ever and who cares about my wager, just outright insane reply!

I typically keep my mouth shut when it comes to subject areas I am not knowledgeable...Lane is so ignorant on the subject he really has no idea what he just said or the implications that go with it...this could cost him his job

I think most if not all coaches know the lines on their games even though most could care less...Don't think much will become of this tweet and yes think it was dumb and dumber ...Just shows his arrogance and puts him farther away from a major D1 job...IMO

he has been a spoiled spoon fed pussy for his entire coaching life living off his daddy's name and getting chances after chances because of his father. There was no reason not to punt there because Marshall had no one back deep to receive the ball and it would of rolled and took time off the clock until it was touched which would of took them under ten seconds with the distance not even giving Marshall a chance for a Hail Mary. It didn't bother my bets as I had them in a teaser which I won but he always has wanted all the attention on himself and know he has it. Just a stupid dumbass!

California called a timeout 3 or 4 weeks ago down 21+ in an attempt to kick a FG that would have covered the spread...

They fucking know the spreads and I can attest to that via 1st hand direct knowledge.
