Holy Cross up by 6 at half against Duke. Please, please, please win this game HC. Man, that would be awesome!

I actually saw where this game was on, right before tip-off, and I was going to take Duke. There was no line, which I am very glad of. I guess HC is div 2 or something. I figured almost everyone was div 1 in bball.

Go Crusaders!!!!!!!

There are more than 300 D1 teams. Not all of the conferences have games lined by the books. Just certain ones. HC is def. D1. They gave Kansas all they could handle as a 16 seed a few years ago.

Thanks bjfinste. I really did think they were div 1, but was curious why a duke game would have no line.

LOL......Duke can't beat them, so 2nd half they start flopping. 3 flops, 3 charges, 7 minutes into 2nd half. Play like men Coach K you pus.

I hope you win. I despise Duke. These charges and ticky tack fouls are pissing me off.
HC has 9 fouls
Duke has 2 fouls

And that doesn't include at least 3 charges. I think your on the wrong side, but I l ike your moxy...

Yeah, you have no chance to beat Duke unless you are a "name" team and then you have very little chance to beat Duke.
Between coaching, calls, talent, and good solid basketball....you have almost no chance to beat these guys.

Duke is definately beatable this year with all the freshman.

Turnovers and sloppy play is unlike Duke . They can win these kinds of games, but wait until North Carolina comes calling.

Duke is totall without the big dog slam a jama athlete.

They do not have a center that can dominate.

I do not care much for Duke but I play every game for or against them. I just like to play their games. I get good reads on them or something.

I saw a line from Oly at -8 at live lines, and went into oly to play it and no line listed. I hate that crap. If its on national espn2 , you got to at least post the line.

Geez Louise.

Scott had a good summary of the dookie squad. They are averaging something like 17 turnovers a game which is unheard of for coach k's teams. All ESPN does is hype their non-conference winning streak at cameron...there's a a good reason for it. It's hard to beat dook in their house when they get the calls that they get. Home court advantage is one thing, but that's on a totally different level.

I can't wait for dook to get steamrolled by decent teams in the ACC.

Saint, "I also can't wait"....but I also know Coach K. Duke is Duke is Duke. I don't see them doing bad. They are always good, and when they struggle the refs will do just enough to keep them competitive.

Those calls tonight didn't look huge to the avg fan. But, Duke was down 6 at halftime and it kept Duke close against an inferior team. It allowed them to shoot those 3's, which they started hitting. Harder to shoot and make those 3's when you are down 10 or 12 rather than down 4 or 2...

Maybe Coach K's back will go out again and they will suck, but I doubt it. As long as K is there, they are a tough team to beat, for several reasons.
