going with gonzales and cano, the last time i hit this prop was bobby abreu years ago. cant go with andrew from pirates, cant go with fielder. the rest dont impress, not going to overstudy, just going with the two!

Oh ok...scratch that one then. I just was on a site that had all the players in it and he was one. Maybe it was an older print before he was ruled out.....
2nd time around, less pressure. Plus I think he's looking for respect, depending on which way the wind is blowing I could very well see him winning :toast:
Beltran swinging for Derby history
- Carlos Beltran is walking into uncharted territory as he prepares for his first appearance in an All-Star Game Home Run Derby tonight in Kansas City.
He did not bring a personal batting practice pitcher
- No switch hitter has won the Derby in the 26 years of the competition, and very few switch hitters even have entered.
Cano should be a little tired... Fielder just now starting to pop homers and he's the former 2009 champion. Taking the current NL MVP in McCutchen at 10-1 odds seems worth a shot, especially since he's currently the hottest hitter in baseball of late.
