I don't know if this has been posted or not with all of the open threads in the forum, but....

Since 1982, Home Underdogs in the playoffs are an ASTOUNDING 11-1-1 against the spread!!

Looks like it's Pittsburgh or bust for me!!

My Take

The game earlier in the season between these two was completely dominated by the Steelers. they ran at will against this Patriots defense that HAD Ty Law, HAD Richard Seymour, and Troy Brown was firmly entrenched at WR instead of splitting time at corner.

Even through Corey Dillon was inactive for the earlier game, I believe given the opportunity, that Kevin Faulk could put up comparable numbers against Dillon. With the Bus and Duce both relatively healthy and Big Ben playing perhaps his worst game of the year last week and they still win, his overall confidence has not been shattered. Look for at least 175 yards rushingg from the Pittsburgh backs and Big Ben managing the game quite well. The Pitt defense is a bend don't break defense and when Brady is in trouble, he tends to make some Favre-like mistakes that kill his team (see Miami).

this game will be decided in the trenches and I feel Pittsburgh getting 3 is a gift!!

Pittsburgh 21-13

Good Luck MJ'ers!!

Although I don't buy the Faulk/Dillon comparison. I do believe the 3 points are a gift. Last week NE was a 1 point dog at home against a great offense/ no defense team. Now there on the road against an average offense/ Number 1 defense. And a 3 point Fav. I just don't get it. Take the points.
