I was wondering why one of his 9 children didn't help him?

..................................................................

I read that they have helped him over the years, but he ate all the food and he eventually had to go

Listen, it?s not wise to get jiggy with the truth when sitting on Dr. Phil?s sofa. Ted Williams, the golden-voiced homeless guy who now has a variety of jobs in radio and TV, revealed on the Dr. Phil Show that he has not been clean and sober for two years, as he has been claiming in the media. After his appearance with Dr. Phil (to be aired on Thursday), Williams has agreed to enter a drug and alcohol rehab facility, reportedly today. What a browbeating that poor man must have endured. From USA Today:
During a taping of the Dr. Phil Show today in Los Angeles, Ted Williams ? with his family?s support ? said he has decided to enter a private rehabilitation treatment facility for his alcohol and drug dependency, a show spokeswoman says. Williams came to the conclusion following a lengthy one-on-one conversation with Dr. Phil, which will air tomorrow.
According to the show, the decision was made due in part to Williams? strange behavior over the past several days, which culminated in a physical altercation with one of his daughters at a Hollywood hotel. He was briefly detained by police and later released.

Dr. Phil:
?If Ted is ever going to get better, he?s got to be honest with himself and admit he?s addicted to drugs and alcohol. I?ve told him it?s not going to be easy and it?s going to take a lot of hard work. It might be a long journey for him, but this is a big step in the right direction.?
The skeptics among us may say that Williams is never going to make it. But optimists like me hold fast to the belief that one day soon, The Dr. Phil Show will be replaced with women?s MMA.
