Between The Hedges
It is great to see good people rewarded for hard work and dedication, and it is that much sweeter when he is one of your own. Jay Crowder was probably never the best player on his high school teams, and had zero D1 offers out of High School. He went to South Georgia Tech before transferring to Howard Junior College and leading them to a National Championship. Only then did a D1 school come calling, and it was Marquette where he played 2 years. Well tonight this young man got to come back home as a professional and play in front of some of the same people that cheered him on in High School. Can't say I am really an NBA guy, but I am in awe of their abilities and I was very fortunate to have a ringside seat. Watching a man Dirks size drive the lane, make fall away jumpers, and then hammer threes is beyond impressive. Anyway here are a few not so good pics of the hometown kid that made us all very proud tonight!

Congrats Jay!
