Weasel,

How, exactly, could that 'info' help the enemy (whoever that is) in any way?

"their sources requested anonymity because they were not allowed to make any of their deliberations public"

And now, as a result of this near treasonous pentagon-liberal-msm complicity-nexus, the jihadists are aware that leaving iraq is one of 3 main super-secret options....

this "media releasing secrets" crap has gone way beyond parody...

even you guys know that...

I think i can simplify this. Weasal is for the draft if he is 38 or over but against the draft if he is 18 to 38. He is for the draft if he is related to a congressman or a senator but against the draft if he is a simple moon-bat like most of us.

The funniest thing of all in this thread is that I think wease actually believes what he posted in his last post to be true. Due to this report, the terra-rists now are aware that pulling out of Iraq might, someday, be an option for the U.S. military, and releasing information that had been discussed worldwide for about two years or so now is a treasonous act.

I swear, you just can't make some of this stuff up. It's hard to tell when the old boy is kidding and being serious, and this one has me going, I have to be honest with you.

Draft or no Draft

Draft or no Draft

CHENEY is going to suck this Iraq thing dry to the last day they are in office and before leaving the will shower Haliburton long huge expensive contracts to last many years.

They will then leave a huge mess for the next President.

Cheney couln't give a rats ass about one of our dedicated wonderful courageous US Service people.

Cheney's mission is to line his pockets so thick and green. When Cheney is nice and fat he will cut and run and answer no one .

His tombstone will be incrypted lying scumbag who sent courageous soldiers to their deaths for his personal gain.:SIB

Believe it or not I would be for draft and especially a Dem led draft initiative--but for different reasons.

1st Rangels intent is that it will get us out of war which is prob correct--It would lead to massive demonstrations as in Viet Nam conflict against war by those intent on making themselves even believe that thier intent is for moraity/reason of war to cover up their real cause--FEAR

Believe everyone should serve at least year in military--helps them grow up-and will put different perspective on things--in addition won't have to listen to diatribe on military from those that are clueless about it--and in times of war we can have have the truely cowardly head out of country with no avenue back.

--and my reason for like being Dem lead--after immigration ordeal the Dems garnered bulk of hispanic vote with GOP down from 44% in 04 to around 28% of vote.If they push through felon voting and control the anti military vote--coupled with 90% black vote --there won't be much reason to have elections. :)

However--expect pelosi and others to say an emphatic NAY to draft. They are not going to piss off their voting rank and file.

Pujo pops in now and then and more often than not makes alot of sense. Cheney and his neo-cons whatever that means now want to invade Iran.
Started the thread as sort of a Vietnam era in joke, meaning all the kids who could afford to would go to Canada or Mexico.
The truth is, recruiters are telling kids that they can qualify for huge bonuses and educational benefits then quit if they don't like it. They're throwing so much Money at these people that we have home grown mercenaries. I would wager that 10-15% of the GIs are illegal aliens promised citizenship. 40-50 year old Guardsmen are dying and kids are doing 2-3 tours. This is a relevent thread and the argument that "shit happens" doesn't work. I'd like to ask this asshole on my TV
Tucker whoever why he doesn't join up.

Pay those that are already in and you will have enough men. We may need a draft that's different from our old one. This war is so different from any of our other ones. What we need is more CIA/FBI. Local under cover detectives. Top Seal units. Computer Wiz Kids. This mess In Iraq will not be way we fight any more. Iran if it comes to it will be smart bombs. Then we will sit back and see how they react. Then counter any move they make. After all Iran is not coming out of there country in any size force. They know they would lose there equipment and men fast. No they will sit back to see if we follow them into there country and end up with another Iraq mess.
So it's time for us to get smart. And more troops on ground would not change a thing. It just make us look like were trying hard for rest of world. We need more trainers then rifle men.

You can probably get 5 million kids quick if you offer unlimited time playing playstation or nintendo. Boy i hope we have world class talent training these kids because those Arab kids will come in with a lot more rage then our kids. couldn't agree with you more tho dj. Has to be a high tech thing now. We need to stop wasting money on this Nuclear crap and spend it on the ones who want to fight.

ITS TIME TO ISSUE SERIOUS WARNINGS TO THE MIDDLE EAST

ITS TIME TO ISSUE SERIOUS WARNINGS TO THE MIDDLE EAST

IF another terrorist attack happens

Then IRAN needs to be dealt with and made a serious example of on the level of DRESDEN at first. Same for Syria.

If a Dresden approach doesn't work then The Next more serious level needs to be dealt as in Japan.

These people hate westerners and just look to murder in their stinking name of Allah. They are even killing each other.

I respect Mr. Bush since he is our wartime president. I have none for the Blood Sucking Cheney.

I have highlighted in this forum, more than once, the specific timeline in regards to Cheney, Halliburton, public service, how he got where he is today, and who has benefitted specifically and lucratively from that timeline. And do you think that Cheney will not benefit further from that connection after he leaves office? If you don't, then, I don't think you're being realistic. There are many forms of benefitting from a relationship, other than divesting of stock in a narrow look, but don't let that stop you from your tombstoning.

Yep Cheney really needs it --he gave more to charity in one year than Kerry and Bill and Hilliary will in their lifetime--of course when Kerry stiffs charity for "0" its not that big a feat--

2 americas--you got that straight!

Bush 2005 charitble contributions--
President and Mrs. Bush contributed $75,560 to churches and charitable organizations, including the American Red Cross ? Hurricane 2005 Relief, the Salvation Army ? Hurricane 2005 Relief, the Salvation Army ? Pakistan Earthquake Relief, Martha?s Table, the Archdiocese of New Orleans Catholic Charities, the Mississippi Food Network, and the Federal Government?s Combined Federal Campaign.

Cheney 2005

To enable the gift administrator to maximize the charitable gifts in 2005, the year in which the options were exercised, the Cheneys wrote a personal check in December 2005 to the gift administrator in the amount of $2,331,400. That amount, combined with the net proceeds from the stock options, was given to the three designated charities by the gift administrator.

Now you all dig in and find what the 2 americas people gave--see if Kerry stiffed for "0" again or see if Edwards is still using the tax dodge to stiff medicare--and don't forget Bill and Hilliary.

Yep don't know how Cheney would make it without Halibuton proceeds ;)

Bush will get his reward for this war thru inheritance. Daddy did pretty good with all those defense contracts.

When you make billions of dollars of filthy filthy money it sometimes soothes a scumbags heart to give a lot to charity. You know dog the type of person who lies and cheats and steals all week long and than goes to church to cleanse thy self. this guy never made an honest dime in his life. Do you think he gave up some of the filthy money he made in Iran when we have sanctions on them?

So the fact that Cheney gave millions to charity (any tax benefits to that?) means whatever he has done in his life, and whatever has been done for him is ok? The ends justify the means, in other words. I get it.

I'm not sure what charity after the fact has to do with how money was made and how others benefitted because of that, but if that makes everything ok by you, I guess that's great for you.

I don't remember seeing Bill's old law firm or the Heinz company at number 6 on the really big moneymaker list this year, and you'd think they would since those guys didn't give much of their money away.
