Hmm, just Googled and came up with this nugget:

In 1997, Pres Clinton and First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton reported adjusted gross income of $504,109; paid $79,480 in Federal taxes and $22,545 in state and local taxes; donated $99,200 to charity...

That's a pretty good chunk of change to charity back then. Of course, the Clinton's didn't make nearly the money 'ol Dick makes, but that's pretty good. By my calculations, the Clintons gave about 20% of their gross income to charity. Not too bad, not sure what that does to your point about Clinton, but don't think it helps it.

CHENEY'S FILTHY DEEDS

CHENEY'S FILTHY DEEDS

NO CHARITY can wipe the blood from Cheney's hands.

All our courageous wonderful Service people sent on a mission of Policy Lies.

This is unforgivable what Cheney did to these soldiers. Lies , propaganda, war profiting.

So what, Al Capone gave away money too.

Blood Stains all over cheney. DESPICABLE:nono:

Would say they trigger huge tax tax savings--

In the nugget you goggled believe even Gore increased charitable contributions to $15,000 that year after being chastised for giving $353 the previous year.:)

However Can't slight Bill or Hilliary on chartible contributions. They have been pretty benevolent even back to 1991 when Bill only reported bout $35,000 income. Has come a long way since then netted more on one pardon than probably lifetime income before politics.

this is quite interesting link into tax returns of pres of both parties-
