nope, I ain't going pay :D

BUT with the way things are going here sorta reminds me of that great TV show from the late 50's & early 60's:

RAWHIDE

yep I remember the closing line of every episode when Trailboss Gil Favor played by Eric Fleming sings out :

HEAD EM UP, MOVE EM OUT

so our new cast would be

Trailboss: Mad Jack

(the older members here help me out please)

Rowdy Yates:

Wishbone:

Mushy :

The theme went like this:

Rollin, Rollin, Rollin.

Rollin, Rollin, Rollin,

Keep them Doggies rollin, .........................................................head em up move em out ! Rawhide

Sorry Jack I just had to do it !

Trivia question for this thread who played Rowdy Yates? Nope I ain't gonna spring for a prize. You simply get to bask in the greatness of your knowledge. Maybe one of the books would toss the winner a bone.

;)

I'll paraphrase, but here are a few more lines for the Raw Hide theme song.

Rollin,Rollin,Rollin, Though the streams are swollen, Keep them doggies rollin, Rawhide!!

Through fire, wind and weather, Hell bent for leather, wishing my gal was by my side!!

All the things I'm missin, Good vittles, love and kissin, are waiting at the end of my ride!

This shows my age,......and is only from memory.....NOT Memorex!! I feel sure that the more internet savy here at Jacks can find all the words somewhere!!

FUN Thread!! Keep it Positive, Topdog

Eric Fleming didn't drown in a country.......he drowned in Water!!

If other than the U.S.A., I'll guess Australia!!

:lol2

good guess Topdog, but incorrect ( I am pretty sure I have the right answer stored in my data bank under the gray hair on the top of my head)

Plus still looking for help on naming the other member of the crew here

Wishbone?
Rowdy Yates? (Clint Eastwood's character)
Mushy?

The song lyrics are very correct as I remember.

Yep Tony we mentioned Gil Favor above a couple of times already & impling that Mad Jack is trailboss Gil Favor on this forum, I have forgotten about Pete Nolan I was a mere child when this show was on. Well at least when it first began. :)

there was a drover named joe scarlett and a mexican named jesus ("hey zeus").

verse two:

Keep movin', movin', movin'
Though they're disapprovin'
Keep them doggies movin'
Rawhide
Don't try to understand 'em
Just rope 'em, pull and brand 'em
Soon we'll be living high and wide
My hearts calculatin'
My true love will be waitin'
Be waitin' at the end of my ride
