Like the Hornets -4.5.I liked them in this series from the beggining.Thought they could split in Jersey and win their home games.Lost one in NJ and blew the other one.Scott makes his famos quote"if we win the 1st 2 we are in total control".Well your not there yet coach until you have 3 wins.He has since changed the quote.
Kidd is playing.How effective he will be has yet to be seen.His eye looks bad but he was hitting jumpers in practice yest.The key with Jason is the "swelling".Many moons ago I had a player with a injury not as bad but close.He played but at halftime we saw the eye started to swell.So we didn't allow him to play.But my kid that replaced him had a career 2nd half.Hope that doesn't happen today with the Nets.
Not going to break down the game.I like Hornets frontline of 6'11 PJ,Mags,6'11,7'0 Eldon,and Lynch 6'8. Mags had 16 pts,9 bds and 6 blocks in game 3.Lynch I love with 12 pts and 12 bds.What a great role player.Did the same with Philly lyr.
Home court crowd means nothing.It's still a big advantage to Hornets regardless of the empty seats.Bee hive has been half empty for the past 14 yrs.Nets are a terrible road team.
Even with Kidd at 100% I like the Hornets in game 4.Silas fooled them a little with 2-3 zone.
Martin,Mac,Williams,and KVH will get beaten on the bds again.And if this game looks like an uphill battle for the Nets,Scott at some pt might throw in the towel and not play Jason to save him for game 5.
Strong play on the Hornets.Rumor of Eldon and the flu are out there.But I'm sure he will play.
