My real first love in the wagering world has always been and still is horse racing. Even with that being the case, I haven't seen a racing form or been to the races for ? long time. But a friend who is heading to the track today asked me to help her out with some horses. In my opinion, and this is with experience behind it, the hardest thing to do is predict horses over the internet. I personally like to make my selections, get to the track, watch the board, post parade, overweights etc. But without going there today this is what I gave her.

Thank you.....appreciate it. Had the last at Santa Anita picked but, didn't play it. Posted at another board and someone mentioned that they liked a certain horse inthe 10th.....well here's part of the copy and paste from that site.

way to be...it's always nice to have some extra oxygen, allows you to breath and think easier. Just took a fast look at that race, and couple good things going for Gaelic Ladd, turf to dirt, dropping from Md Sp Wt, trainer does well of layoff etc. My choice in this race would be either 4 Goal, or 6 Mr Hockey. Both horses show good early speed in this 5' furlong race. I don't like the idea that # 4 Goal ended up 6th losing by 7' after leading all the way, but the half furlong less today might just be what is needed. Also like the fact that O'Neill claimed this horse for himself and company from Baffert, and the horse is still at what he claimed him for, not lower, which would indicate a possible injury etc. He's also going to one of the things I like.....BLINKS OFF. Horse also set the fast pace of 21.1/44.3 etc, so if he gets out good and clean, and settles down he could take this in m opinion. If not, I'd have to go over to 6 Mr.Hockey, who O'Neill also trains.....and Baze goes from Goal to Mr.Hockey, also with early speed. Could be getting a price on 4 Goal....we'll see. But since I'm not going to have anything on this race, I'll be cheering for you. GL
