Was going to see Joel Mchale (talk soup guy - wife loves him) for our anniversary at this casino the first week in May. I see that they don't have a hotel at the casino.... Can anyone recommend decent places n the area?

my wife and i want to go see him also, unfortunately, i don't think he's coming near mississippi anytime soon
i would stay somewhere in chicago, hammond is a very dirty place. If you dont want to travel that far i would look at some of the near by casinos. I stayed at the majestic star that is close to the horseshoe before, and it was seriously one of the worst hotel experiences ever.
