I started a new topic for this one just in case some of you read my other post and didn't think I added another play for this week.

:)

I Hit this for a medium size play and suggest that if your going to get on board do so ASAP because the line will move up to -3 before long.

Buffalo Bills -1
Over New York Jets

I?ve been waiting for the Bills to officially announce their starting Qb for this week and they did on Wednesday?it?s Kelly Holcome?Hit this one before the line moves up?with Holcombe at the helm the Bills are a respectable 3-3 on the season and are coming off of a stunning thrashing of the Bengals on the road as 14 point Dogs?this week they face a Jets team coming off of Monday Night and their ?mini-Super Bowl? game with the Patriots?this Jets team was once again dominated by the Pats but the final score ( a late Jets score and a Ty Law INT for a Defensive TD) made the game much closer then it really was....the Jets are hurting period!...Bottom Line? The Bills come into this game with Holcombe at QB and the players have stated that they feel extremely confident with Holcombe under center and it shows by their production on the field?even though I don?t feel this one will be a blowout?I do feel the Bills will be able to move the ball enough to put some points on the board against a decent Jets Defense that is banged up and will be without D-Linemen Shaun Ellis and Dwane Robertson?while the Bills Defense should be able to stifle a Jets attack that is without Curtis Martin and is operating on auto-pilot with Brooks Bollinger under center?and before I forget?the Bills also have a HUGE special teams edge in this Game?the Jets are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 overall?while the Bills are 3-1 ATS in their last 4 road games AND 4-0 ATS in their last 4 meeting with the Jets? The Bills are GREAT value at this time since they are only laying -1.
Buffalo 24 New York 16

Just a cautionary note

Just a cautionary note

Everybody wishes they took them LAST week. The one point line is meant to bait people into thinking, hey the Jets aren't nearly as good as Cinn, all they have to do is win.Its my opinion you should go easy on this one,the Bills won't likely be the same team as last week,Holcomb or not.I like other games this week, but GL and hope it wins.

As I stated in my post I made it a medium size play but I like this one alot...the Jets are reeling right now and are coming off of a Monday Night game that they really wanted (even though they didn't look like they did)...I don't like playing Bad teams...but...the Bills as a team play better with Holcombe under center and they are playing a HORRIBLE Jets team this week...The 1 point will be -3 by Sunday! :yup

Good Luck on your plays this week!

jets are reeling?? really? how can you tell? because they lost to a top team in the NFL? it doesnt matter that 2 weeks ago they hung with a decent miami team in florida? or that they whipped a sorry Oakland team 3 weeks ago? this team is playing hard even if they dont have the dogs to compete with the good teams.

buffalo is NOT a good team.

wagering on road teams that won SU as a DD dog the week before is a big losing proposition.

since 1990 those teams are 5-18 SU and 6-15-2 ATS

They may be playing hard... but it looks like they're hardly playing :mj07:

My point is they are banged up right now on the D-line and are coming off of MNF...the Bills played on Saturday...2 days extra to rest...you are right about the fact that Buffalo is NOT a good team...However they are a .500 team with Holcombe at the helm and I'm betting they're at least 1 point better then the Jets on Sunday. :)

wow, did you even watch their game with Miami?
or their dismantling of the Raiduhs?
or did you conveniently forget that?

the Jets had a 17-10 lead going into the 4Q at Miami (just a hint, Miami has won 5 in a row and have a winning record so they aint exactly sh*t....Saban has them playing well right now).

up until last week, Beefalo had lost 5 in a row.

i would be careful just focusing on last week's games. i'd look at the ones before that as well to judge how a team is playing.

Yup!...sure did....the Raiders quit on Norv Turner weeks ago and had Tuiasosopo at Qb that day!

The Jets played the Fins tough...but...the Fins were coming off of an upset win over the Chargers and a long west coast trip...they may have been overlooking the Jets just a bit...and...that Fins team is the same team that Buffalo beat earlier in the season and led 21-0 in the 1st quarter before losing 24-23 due to the errors of J.P. Losman

Bflo did lose 5 in a row before Cincy...but...the week before Cincy (with Holcombe at QB) they led and outplayed a pretty good Denver team 7-0 for most of the first half and went into the half tied at 7-7...before the Broncos took control in the second half...and with Holcombe at the helm the Bills led another pretty good team (the Patriots) 16-3 in the 4th quarter in NE before falling late in the game...my point is...WITH Holcombe at QB the Bills as a team are much better and focused...the team reponds to him...and last but not least..the Bills can be beat and have been all season by a team with a good running game...last I checked - Curtis Martin was in street clothes.

Now you see why I have my mind made up!

Good Luck this weekend!

just be aware, you are reflecting joe public's thinking in a big way this week. Everywhere reports over 90-95% public money on buffalo. And most books aren't budging the line at all. Be wary. I'm personally taking the Jets. Your logic is right for the most part, but theres something fishy here.

Oh...I hear you...but Joe Public's gotta be right sometime though...and I think this is the week...but hell I've been wrong before...but I just got a feeling it won't be this week.

My offshore moved the line up to -1.5 and I will be surprised it that doesn't hit -2 by tomorrow.

Good Luck this weekend!

Vegas Baby !!
Any coach that can only pull out 4 wins deserves to be FIRED !!

Of the 12 losses, 8 by double digits !! They need a new gameplan for offense. All year long, they NEVER seemed as if they wanted to score.

I watched the game from start to finish and although the Jets did play hard they were outplayed by the Bills for most of the game...the Bills held a big edge in first downs 21-12...Total yards 331-207 and TOP - 33:58 to 26:12...but...they committed 4 turnovers - 4 INT's in which 2 were tipped and one brought back for a TD by the Jets "D" and gave up a special teams TD something they hadn't done since 2002...too many mistakes for any team to overcome.

:s4:

How about a team that had just as many injuries and still made the playoffs, Bill Bellichek
