So it seems only 2 of the 51 contestants believe in evolution. Don't know what to say about this.

Miss USA Pageant Winner One of Two Contestants to Back Evolution.

I do Feklhr, it's called Politically Correct, these women are afraid to give their real view in light of the way the JUDGES fill out their SCORECARD.

PITY REALLY.

Yeah I get how judges might vote against them for believing in evolution, but what I am shocked about is that 95% of contestants are creationists. That seems really high.

That's surprising, but not shocking. Apparently there's not much overlap between women interested in science and those who participate in beauty pageants... :142smilie

Where it is real F ing COLD
Well not every thing Darwin said can be proved but I deduct this as do many, many others as true...

Animal species have evolved over the years with natural selection. The strongest survived by adapting and adjusting over the years. Those that did not became extinct.

I can think of one example myself that people can refer too... Take a look at bacteria.. Bacteria are perfect examples of evolution. These buggers have been evolving and adapting for years, new strains come out because they get stronger and stronger. We seem to kill off a lot of them but when a few are left behind, those few produce stronger more evolved bacteria.

Scientists with fossils can prove that certain animals have adapted or have had changes over the years to ensure non extinction. I am not going to look them all up but this is what I learned at a very young age.

Dolphins, Whales, and Platypus are a few animals that are said to be proof of evolution.

Now I am not saying he is right about everything and I am not sure we came from monkeys, but who am I suppose to believe??

I think I will follow Darwiin's beliefs over any religious beliefs when in fact people can discredit Darwin but believe a person,

1. Can walk on water which defies all logic and science.

2. Magically turn bread into fish.

3. Magically turn water into wine.

4. Adam and Eve in their Garden.

You can't make this shit up? Well I guess you can.

When the settlers first arrived here they were shocked as hell that there were natives here. How could this be? It didn't make sense to their over religious teachings. They wondered how did they get their? This defied the Adam and Eve logic. Sadly, many white people thought of natives as devil children or Satan's descendants. Now this you can prove in just about any american literature history book.
