house electrical lighting ?

just purchased a small chandelier for the living room

and the instructions say connect electriacl box black wire to the black fixture wire and the electrical box white wire to the white fixture wire
also there was a green wire which im sure is the ground so screwed that with existing ground on elicrical box......

problem there was no white wire on the chandelier fixture as in the instructions,,but 2 black wire and a green wire....so
i hooked up the black with black and the other black with white and geen to ground....
light works but when this happens the plugs for my computer in anther room go off and the breaker on the fuse box turns to off....

so what to do

Sounds like something is wrong and you need to take it down before you burn the joint down.

While that makes sense, from a logical standpoint, you could really do some damage if this isn't right. Take the fucker down and take it back. Electrical fires are no joke.
